His Royal Majesty Oba Sikiru Atanda Sanni, Woleola ll, the Olupo of Ajase-Ipo and Chairman, Irepodun Local Government Traditional Council, Kwara State has condemned the unruly behaviours of some political miscreants that attempted to waylaid the convoy of His Excellency Mr. Kayode Alabi, the Deputy Governor of Kwara State after the recent Kwara South Town Hall meeting held in Ajase-Ipo.
After investigating the matter, Olupo said that the perpetrators of the disgraceful act are not indigenes of Ajase-Ipo but stranded political youths from other neighbouring towns and local governments, who were said to be agitating for return transport fare to their homes after the programme.
The Olupo has therefore given stern warnings to the perpetrators of such illicit acts to desist from such unruly behaviours or be ready to face the wrath of law if such act reoccurs again.
In view of the above, Oba Woleola appeals to security agencies to be more proactive and vigilant within the various communities, especially during public gatherings to prevent reoccurrence in the future.
His Royal Majesty and good people of Kwara South hereby apologise to the Kwara State Governor, His Excellency Alhaji AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq and specifically to the Deputy Governor for the unruly attitudes of the unknown political youths. TopSearch Magazine confirmed.
