Rivers State: Amaechi Faces Imminent Suspension from APC

TopSearch Magazine reliably gathered that another wave of political storm is imminence in All Progressives Congress, (APC) in Rivers State if the measure promised to come up in few days by the Senate President Ahmad Lawan does not come up in time.

The APC Rivers State acting Chairman, Hon. Igo Aguma has been alleged by the loyalists to the Minister of Transportation, Hon. Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi of a suspension plot to humiliate the minister in the State and have the total control of the party.

According to the leaders of Amaechi’s faction in the State, the duo of Chief Eze Chukwuemeka Eze and Chizi Enyi alleged Aguma who belongs to Senator Magnus Abe’s camp of intent to have a total control of the party by suspending Amaechi.

According to a statement credited to Amaechi’s group in Rivers State, claims that “It has uncovered a plot by Igo Aguma, Senator Magnus Abe and some influential peoples in government to create the impression that the Hon. Minister and the Acting National Chairman of APC, Chief Victor Giadom has been suspended in the State”.

According to the group, they mentioned Adam Oshiomohle’s scenario as a precedence they can lay upon on the plan.

In contrary to Amaehi’s group, Aguma had earlier assured that he wanted to stabilize the party within a very short time and hand over to duly elected State Executive Committee. Though, the magazine gathered that Amaechi’s faction which was defeated in court by Abe’s group alleys fear of Aguma having ulterior motives against Amaechi and his group. Therefore, the minister’s group is not comfortable with the party in the state. The magazine gathered.
