Ondo Poll: Akeredolu Picked Best Material as Running Mate, Says APC UK

The executive and members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) United Kingdom(UK) Ondo State Chapter have eulogized Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu for making the right choice in Mr Lucky Ayedatiwa as his running mate for the October 10 gubernatorial election in the state.

With Ayedatiwa from Ilaje riverine axis of the Southern Senatorial District, the APC stakeholders in the diaspora expressed optimism that the mandatory eight years tenure of Governor Akeredolu is guaranteed.

In an on-line statement to ‘Top Search Magazine’ reporter and signed by the group’s publicity secretary, Fola Olagbegi, the APC’s group noted that Akeredolu discovered the best material that could facilitate victory for the ruling party, going by Ayedatiwa’s enviable pedigree.

Other leaders of the party including its Chairman, Chief Dare Adeyeye, Deputy Chairman, APC UK Chapter, Hon Tunde Doherty and Auditor(APC UK Southwest Caucus) Mr Ayo Adigun described the former Ondo state representative at the Niger Delta Development Commission(NDDC) as a round peg in a round hole capable of fortifying the ruling party to garner bulk votes for Akeredolu’s victory at the polls.

The APC stalwarts enthused that the pairing of Akeredolu with Ayedatiwa would attractive massive votes from both the North and Southern Districts, while the laudable projects initiated in the Central District would also drive several votes to the side of APC and Akeredolu.

However, the group urged the APC leadership in the state not to rest on its oars by going on massive mobilization of voters to facilitate victory for the incumbent governor Akeredolu at the polls.

It described APC as a progressives’ party that prioritise the welfare and betterment of its citizenry, stressing that Akeredolu’s second coming would add value to robust governance, if elected to sustain the office beyond February 24, 2021.
